The What to Synchronize button displays a dialog with a list of checkboxes for different file types. Just turn the checkbox on or off, depending on whether or not you want MacUpdate to synchronize that particular kind of file.
The How to Synchronize dialog lets you set copy, verify, and delete files, as well as set the copy buffer size. It also lets you specify whether MacUpdate should synchronize sub-folders or not. WARNING: beware of the Delete option. Be sure you know what you are doing! NOTE: Copy Verification takes extra time.
The When to Synchronize dialog lets MacUpdate be configured for Auto-Synchronization at startup, as well as background synchronization: either after an elapsed period of time, or at a specific time of day. If either of the background modes are selected, DON'T QUIT MacUpdate. Registration fee will give you access to password-protected Quitting.
